Kandinsky Art piece

During this unit we have been talking about Kandinsky and made an abstract Kandinsky art piece. We had to think about value and color transitions, as well as making it as abstract as possible. I learned that abstract art is nonrepresentational art, meaning that it doesn’t try to show objects in the natural world. This is my art piece:

What I did well:

I think i did a good job on choosing my different colors and having many value transitions with in my art piece. As well as focusing on many details with out rushing through things to fast, this meaning that I took my time and focused on small things.

What I need to work on:

Next time I would manage my time a bit more so that I finish my piece in time. I also think that I could have focused on the black lines to make them straighter and more perfect. As well as making my black lines thinner in some areas. I also think that I can work on having more color transitions with in my Kandinsky piece.

Imaginary Land product

The Emotional Perfume:

Are you having a bad day and don’t feel like acting in a certain way? This perfume is perfect for your acting career, giving you different emotions to help you act. You say the emotion you want to be in to the perfume bottle and then Woala! When the perfume spray hits your skin you become the emotion that you asked for. For example you want to be happy, you say “happy” to the bottle and press down the button to spray, the liquid hits your body and you become happy! You can basically control your emotions.

Every time you say a different emotion the scent changes! In Theatredia there are special, unique flowers and every different emotion contains a different scent from a different flower grown in Theatredia. The basic emotions like happy, sad, angry, excited, crazy… contain scenes like from the flower Bludelweiss, Lennea, all of the different flowers on the Treefloratina… What an amazing and life changing product!

ART Reflection

During this short but fun and challenging unit we had to draw lots of small or big dots according to what we by are selves wanted on a piece of paper making it as abstract as possible. We all had to think about composition and the depth that we gave in our art pieces. Doing for example lots of small dots in one section whiles the dots then slowly becomes more spaced out as it flows.

What I thought I did well:

I think that I choose an artistic risk by sticking to small and detailed dots instead of big dots. I also thought that I focused a lot on the details in the art piece which took some time but in the end I found the art work quite neat and spaced out.

What I could do differently next time:

I think that I could maybe not rush so much in the end when trying to finish my art work. I also thought that now whilst looking at my art piece there are some areas were I could have focused on a bit more, like for example the top part were the dots become lighter it seems quite empty so I could have used my imagination and have come up with a better idea for that part.

When you click on the link to my art work there was no way of rotating it before publeshing it here online and therfore I aks you to rotate the picture by clicking on the round arrow on the top.

Theatredia Fashion Magazine

capture-social-studies

Did you know that Theatredia has picked up the style of Shakespeare and is now the main fashion style in Theatredia. This is all because of the great man William Shakespeare, the God of the country. On every magazine through out the country the cover on the magazine has at least one piece of clothing from Shakespeare’s time, amazing! Here to the left you can see one of the latest magazine with a a dress from that time in history.
