JV Boys Tie Match Against ICS

Friday afternoon, the JV Boys showed up on the Im Brand Field in Thalwil to face ICS (Inter Community School Zurich).

Right as the game kicked off, ZIS (Zurich International School) were very strong, scoring an early goal and dominating in the midfield.

Unluckily, ICS managed to counter attack by sending a ball through the ZIS defense in order to equalize the score 1-1.

However, the JV Boys quickly followed with beautiful passes through to the ZIS offense, which resulted in a goal. No further goals were scored in the first half.

The second half kicked off with a lucky ICS shot through the Zurich defense which tied the score 2-2.

The game continued with the ball going back and forth between the two teams, both having their ups and downs, however no further goals were scored, with the final score settled at 2-2.

Overall, this was a very frustrating game for the JV Boys who were looking to pick up a win after an unsuccessful trip to Munich.

The team will be playing against ISZL (International School of Zug & Luzern)  the following Monday, a team the Lions have not yet faced this season.
